We had a great experience at Trysil Hyttegrend! The value for money was excellent, and our room was cozy and comfortable. The location was perfect, offering beautiful views and easy access to the slopes. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

One small suggestion for improvement would be to offer a greater variety of options for the morning meal.

We arrived at Trysil Hyttegrend and were immediately struck by the cozy, charming cabins nestled amongst the beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin we stayed in had amazing views of the lake, and we loved waking up to such a serene atmosphere. The staff at the resort were friendly and were really nice too make our stay nice. One evening, when the ski bus wasn't running, they even offered to give us rides to and from the visitor center and the ski slopes. It was such a thoughtful gesture and greatly appreciated. The cabins themselves were warm and inviting, with a rustic charm, made us feel right at home. The cabin was spacious enough for our family of four, and we found everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Although the kitchen area was small, it was practical for our group, especially since we have small children. The only minor inconvenience was the sound of dripping water from the right side bedroom, easily resolved by wearing earplugs. our experience at Trysil Hyttegrend was fantastic. The location was convenient, the staff was really good, and the cabins were cozy and cute. We highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.

We had a fantastic stay in this lovely cabin nestled by the river. the location was picturesque, offering a breathtaking view of the mountains. the cozy cabin had a warm fireplace and well-equipped kitchen, perfect for a comfortable stay. the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met. the beds were comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after a day of exploration. the cabin also had a sauna, adding to the relaxation experience. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

The lack of electric vehicle charging facilities was a downside, considering Norway's reputation for being EV-friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Hyttegrend Villa! The cozy cabin provided everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and microwave. The surrounding views of the green hill, river, and mountains were amazing. We even had the chance to spot some moose in the evenings. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They even upgraded us to a beautiful cabin named Klara! The location was perfect, just a short drive to Trysil ski area and the free ski bus stopped right outside the hotel. The central heating and wood-burning fireplace kept us warm during the cold winter nights. we highly recommend Hyttegrend Villa for a weekend trip or longer stay!

The location of the cabin was absolutely stunning, right by the river with a beautiful view. It was also conveniently situated near a main road, so it was easy to get to even in wintry conditions. Another advantage was the well-equipped kitchen, with all the crockery and cutlery that we needed.

The bed situation was a bit uncomfortable as they were basically couches that couldn't be unfolded into proper beds. This made it difficult for taller people to stretch out and finding bed sheets that fit properly was also a challenge.

We had an amazing stay! The cabin was clean and had almost brand new equipment. The location was perfect, with beautiful views of the mountains and the river. The owners were very nice and helpful. We loved waking up to wildlife outside our windows in the middle of nature. It was easy to find, even in the wintry conditions, and just a short drive to the ski center. We also appreciated the nearby supermarket for all our cooking needs. Highly recommended for a ski vacation or summer getaway!

Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

I felt like royalty getting married with the scenic river and the majestic mountain as my backdrop. And guess what? I even had the privilege of going for a quick swim in the water. How posh!

Oh, the horror! The only downside was that the bus only came once per hour.

The cozy cabins were well-equipped and clean, with central heating and a wood-burning fireplace. the owner was friendly and helpful with any queries. the location was perfect for people with a car or those who wanted to take the free ski bus. Nice view and a warm welcome gift in the cabin.

Felt like a home away from home, no reason to complain.

The location of the cabin was absolutely fantastic, right next to the frozen river. It provided a stunning view and a safe space for kids to play in the snow. The cabin itself was very cozy and warm, with a well-equipped kitchen and a fireplace. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.

While there were many great things about the cabin, there were a few downsides. the path down to the cabin could have been better gritted, as it was a bit slippery.

With its close proximity to Trysil and Engerdal Museum, Trysil Ski Resort, and Trysil Bike Arena, we had endless opportunities for fun and adventure. The surrounding terrain offered a whopping 100 km of cross country trails, making it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts like us. Additionally, the children's playground provided a great place for our kids to burn off some energy and have a blast.

For dads, it would be great if Trysil Hyttegrend offered more indoor activities for families with children.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, even accommodating our late-night arrival due to a delayed flight. The proximity to the Trysil ski area, just a 10-minute drive away, was a major plus. we highly recommend this hotel and would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hyttegrend Villa in Trysil! The location was absolutely stunning, with the camping situated on a green hill along a river, offering breathtaking mountain views. Our cabin was simple yet cozy, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it fully equipped with an oven and microwave. The kitchen, though small, had everything we needed. We were lucky enough to spot several moose in the surrounding area, especially in the late evenings. Special thanks to Evander for upgrading us to the beautiful "Klara" cabin on a prime spot!
